Marriage is an enigma to a single woman who has never been there. How do you know you’re ready to take that journey? My friends are getting married so I’m thinking about it more.

I thought about the possibility of marrying my ex. I considered my personal and professional life goals, and the current direction my life was headed. In the end, I know I wanted to marry him but later. Marriage is not for everyone; just take your time.

If something happens during the day and you think, "I need to tell him when I get home", that is a great start. If you challenge one another in a positive way and he makes you want to be a better person, he's in the running. If you dream of growing old with him, then you know.

That is the perfect explanation, GG! I knew I found the right one when I wanted to put down roots with him. I never imagined I would want that with another person, so I was shocked at the revelation. Thankfully, it has worked out so far.
