I know there is a thread here on the "Worse Pick Up Lines" but there are so many bad pickup lines that I decided to start another topic on Best Pick Up Lines.
Actually Pick up Lines in itself sounds negative, but for a lack of a better way to describe this thread I will use the phrase "Best Pick Up Lines" for this discussion.
Why a guy feels they have to come up with some catchy phrase to introduce themselves is beyond me. I like cleaver as much as the next lady, so a line that has some humor is ok, as long as it is sincere. I bet you could take two different guys, each use the same pick up line and one will come across as an "eye rolling" reaction while another guy using the same line may come across as being sincere and funny. So maybe it isn't the line itself, it is how it is presented that makes the difference.
With that said, I still appreciate simple. A guy who simply comes up and says "hi, I'm Ted and was wondering if it is ok to talk to you" is more than enough. Being polite and asking me if it is ok, is always a big plus.
As they say, you can't always get what you want (stones, but I like this version also).
Your thoughts????

This one isn't the best, but it did make me laugh enough to talk to the guy!
"You're so beautiful that you made me forget my pickup line."

I find pickup lines to be too corny to ever try. I'm one of those guys who'd be far too uncomfortable using them, so I'd just go up to a woman and strike up a conversation maybe. Personally I'm pretty shy, so it's a no go on my end, plus it seems women hate pick-up lines unless they're new and extremely witty.

This one actually made me laugh, so here it is..........
"My boys over there bet that I wouldn't be able to start a conversation with the most beautiful girl in the room. Want to buy some drinks with their money?"

I don't agree agree. I think most of the women love good pick up lines. You can make feel her important by choosing polite and romantic phrase.

Ladies I can honestly say that I’ve never used a pick-up line in my life. But I have a couple of friends that thinks it’s cool to use them.

I think pick-up lines are corny and used way too often. What's wrong with a simple "Hi, my name is Josh. Mind if I sit here?" If she says yes, then you can strike up a conversation, buy her a drink and chat with each other.

I am not a big fan of pick up lines. It makes a guy sound like he's trying too hard. Or, maybe it's because it make me feel put on the spot to try to be witty in return.
If a guy wants to start a conversation, there is nothing wrong with a simple "Hey! How's it going?"

People are too afraid to be themselves and you have to have somewhat of a brain to say something mildly sincere.
